Requirements: Must obtain a National Criminal Background Check

                        High school education or equivalent

 

Job Description:

•  Preparing hot and cold foods, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups, according to recipes and menus.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area, including the kitchen, dishwashing room, and dining room.
• School cafeteria workers may also need to be able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in refrigerated areas. They should also have basic math skills, be able to read and follow recipes, and be knowledgeable about food safety practices.

Physical Requirements: Constant bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling.
