Position Summary:

 

Colcord Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and innovative Business Education Teacher to provide classroom instruction and serve as an advisor to BPA (Business Professionals of America).  The ideal candidate will prepare students with industry-relevant technical skills, leadership development, and real-world application with Oklahoma CareerTech Standards.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Education
• Valid state teaching certificate in Business Education
• Knowledge of digital marketing, graphic design, and media production tools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to sponsor or supervise extracurricular activities.
• Pass and OSBI background check.

Essential Duties:

 

• Maintain digital labs, design equipment, and broadcasting technology.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative learning environment.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and CareerTech Partners.
• Participate in district professional development and required training.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal education policies.
• Oversee and manage the school's BPA chapter, including leadership development, competitions, meetings and events.
